As the sun shines and weather warms the desire to be active consumes me. I crave the smell of freshly cut grass and sight of cherry blossoms, particularly along View Street, and I feel guilty if I am inside. Today was particularly beautiful and as a holiday there is no excuse for not spending a few hours in the great outdoors. So how did I celebrate the Friday of Goodness? I went for a hike on a new trail in East Sooke Park with a good friend. Not only was I active but also fulfilled my need for social interaction and mental clarity. All I can say is life is good. Enjoy!
