Apple Almond Smoothie

Smoothies. I can’t get enough of them these days. You can put virtually anything into a blender and make it taste delicious. The best part about smoothies (in my case) is that they are always healthy and chock-full of nutrients. Here’s a recipe for one I created yesterday:

Apple Almond Smoothie

  • Spinach – fistful
  • Apple – gala, chopped
  • Almonds – dry roasted, handful
  • Yogurt – 2% plain, 1/2 cup
  • Cinnamon – tsp
  • Vanilla extract – tsp
  • Almond milk – until smooth

Blenderize until smooth. Serves 2 generous people, 1 hungry one.
