Blackberry Blast

Blackberry SmoothieBlackberries are in full force right now so to celebrate I picked tubs-full and have been adding them to everything. As a firm believer in all things smoothie, I created an antioxidant-blast to kick off my busy day.

Blackberry Blast

  • 1 cup blackberries
  • 2 cups greens (spinach, kale, chard)
  • Banana (optional)
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • Tbps chia seeds
  • Honey, maple syrup or agave (optional)
  • Almond milk (until smooth)

“Man Alive” Avocado Smoothie

  • Avocado – half or full
  • Banana
  • Spinach – fistful
  • Lime – half, juiced
  • Hemp Hearts – tsp
  • Chia Seeds – tsp
  • Almond Milk

Green Chocolate Smoothie

It is not uncommon for me to crave dessert after dinner, especially chocolate. Tonight was no exception but I felt guilty for not eating my quota of greens for the day. What to do?
